With a background in software engineering, Sandy has 10 years experience working in various high-tech firms in roles from developer to product marketing & management.

Her experiences have led her to realize that she loves helping business owners and entrepreneurs understand and leverage the ever-changing technology landscape to grow their businesses’ presence online.

Sandy has been working with everyone from CEOs, Senior Sales and Marketing leaders and small business owners on how to integrate social media into their marketing strategy and use blogging, Facebook and Twitter to grow their presence and connect with customers.

She understands the changing landscape of the web and can help organizations be an integral part of this landscape.

She is also the co-founder and community manager of The Social Woman, a vibrant online community for Canadian women to make friends in their city & attend social events. The goal of The Social Woman is to use technology to connect women locally and was launched in 2009 in Montreal, Canada. The site has 2000 members concentrated in Montreal and Toronto and expanding to other Canadian cities.  The Social Woman has grown its member base and promoted solely through the use of online tools.
